Gosheni Pamoja Day is a vibrant family-friendly community celebration of togetherness, community, and purpose. A time where joy, culture, and purpose come together in a powerful way.
Rooted in the Swahili word Pamoja, meaning “together,” this special day will bring families, neighbors, and friends together at Gosheni Farm to witness the beauty of God’s work through unity, culture, and service. It is a reflection of our deepest belief, that when people come together across backgrounds, neighborhoods, and experiences, transformation happens.
Gosheni Pamoja will serve as a cherished annual tradition for families—a day of laughter, play, music, food, and shared purpose. It will be time to experience the harvest, not just from the farm, but from the seeds of compassion and faith sown in our community. It’s a chance to see firsthand the life-giving impact of Gosheni Farm and Gate of Hope Ministries.
The Celebration is one of our main annual fundraisers, with donations welcomed before, during, and after the event. Every gift will help sustain our programs, expand our outreach, and grow the vision of inspiring hope and transforming lives through empowerment, education, and encouragement. Every support will help ensure that the work continues to flourish.
We envision a true community day, where the local Louisville community and the African community come together side by side to build bridges of hope and understanding, share in the abundance of the land, and celebrate what God is doing.
At GHMI we believe that when people gather with purpose, transformation happens. And on this day, through every laugh, prayer, play, and plate of food, we will declare as one community: We are Pamoja—We are Together.
